(phone ringing)

Scott PETERSON: Hey Mom.

Jackie PETERSON: Hi.  How are you?

Scott PETERSON: Okay.  How are you?

Jackie PETERSON: Fine.  Dad’s having to tie Macki up because the gardeners are here.  Do you think that…

Scott PETERSON: Oh!  Janey didn’t come and get him yesterday, huh?

Jackie PETERSON: No.  Um…I wasn’t home.  We’re going to take him down there today.  We actually didn’t want to let him go yet.

Scott PETERSON: Huh

Jackie PETERSON: He’s…He’s uh…he’s very sweet.

Scott PETERSON: Yeah, he is.

Jackie PETERSON: He probably wouldn’t leave.  He wouldn’t leave would he? When we leave the property?

Scott PETERSON: Yeah.

Jackie PETERSON: Oh, okay.  He would.  Scott said he would.  Um…you heard all that thing about Longview?

Scott PETERSON: Yeah, is there any more news?  I just keep hearing that the police are looking at it but…

Jackie PETERSON: Well, they…according to today’s paper, the police there are going to view the video.

Scott PETERSON: Yeah.

Jackie PETERSON: And um…that’s all we know.  Anyway, I just…I wonder, you know, I said to dad are they capable of viewing the video?

Scott PETERSON: I know.  I want to see the damn thing.  How can they ID her?

Jackie PETERSON: Why don’t you hop on a plane?

Scott PETERSON: I’ll definitely…you know, I called up there and talked to one of  ‘em.

Jackie PETERSON: Oh, good for you.   Good for you.

Scott PETERSON: Hopefully we’ll see what’s …

Jackie PETERSON: Yeah.  God, that’s at least a lead.

Scott PETERSON: Yeah.

Jackie PETERSON: I mean I didn’t take much credence in it until I heard she was 45. But she’s still a dip if she didn’t remember.

Scott PETERSON: Yeah, Ha…Ha…

Jackie PETERSON: Yeah.

Scott PETERSON: And when was it that she laws saw her?

Jackie PETERSON: The end of December.

Scott PETERSON: Okay.

Jackie PETERSON: Yeah.  Which is time to get there, you know, if you’re…then I’m  hoping that they would have video on the border.

Scott PETERSON: Yeah, it’s the end of January.

Jackie PETERSON: Yeah, I know, sweetie.

Scott PETERSON: And when did she report it?  I mean the report says she waited a week or something, but now she waited a month.

Lee PETERSON: Yeah, it’s a month.

Jackie PETERSON: She only saw the pictures of uh…Laci on CNN recently.

Scott PETERSON: Hum.

Lee PETERSON:I tied Mackie to the table out there and he’s dragging it around.

Scott PETERSON: Ha…Ha…Ha…

Jackie PETERSON: Well, he’s barking at the gardeners.  I’ll have to go tell him…

Scott PETERSON: He’ll tear them up.

Jackie PETERSON: He’s a good little guy.

Scott PETERSON: He is.  Thanks for walking him.

Lee PETERSON: I took him for a walk.

Jackie PETERSON: Yeah, Dad walked him this morning.

Scott PETERSON: He’s a little stinky.  When I come down there I’m gonna give him  a bath.

Lee PETERSON: I can’t hear you too much noise.  (dog barking in background)

Scott PETERSON: What’s going on down there?

Jackie PETERSON: Hey, It’s okay.  It’s okay, yeah, it’s okay, stop that.  Come on in… Hi sorry.

Lee PETERSON: He’s dragging the table around.

Scott PETERSON: Ha…

Jackie PETERSON: The gardeners are afraid to come in, honey.  You better put him in the garage for an hour.

Lee PETERSON: Okay.  They won’t come in?

Jackie PETERSON: No.

Lee PETERSON: All right.

Jackie PETERSON: They’re outside the gate there.

Scott PETERSON: Let him in the house, he’ll have fun in there.

Jackie PETERSON: What Scott?
