The Court and the attorneys have reviewed the transcript of the May 2, 2003 hearing.  The transcript is corrected as stated on the record.

IT IS ORDERED that the transcript of May 2, 2003 is certified.

Counsel for the Defense and for the People present arguments by counsel, IT IS ORDERED that the 170.6 Code of Civil Procedure filed in case number 1045098 does not apply to this case.  Therefore, Defense request is DENIED.

A stipulation and Order is signed by the court that the remains of the victims shall be retained by the Contra Costa County Coroner’s office until further order of the Court.

The date of 5/19/03 shall be vacated and Pretrial hearing is continued to May 27, 2003 at 8:30 a.m. in Department 8 (Judge Girolami, presiding).

The defendant shall be dressed in civilian clothing for all future hearings.  The defendant shall not be chained during Court proceedings.

Defendant waives time.

The Defendant is remanded into the custody of the Sheriff.  No bail is set.
