Modesto -- July 1, 2004

Purpose: To personally visit the familiar sites: Covena neighborhood, Trader Joe's, Big 5 Store, Union Gospel Mission, and the Path to the Park.

The challah bread is the only package still remaining on the shelf at Trader Joe's when we arrived that morning.  The clerk told us it routinely sells out.  The Big 5 store is in the same shopping complex as Trader Joe's.  I purchased a 2-day fishing license.
